In a statement to Theonering.net, Guillermo Del Toro has announced that he will no longer be directing the two part adaptation of Tolkien’s The Hobbit.

After a disappointing start last weekend, ‘Shrek Forever After’ finishes its second weekend down a respectable 38.8% to $43.3 million and a total of $133 million.

De Niro, Pacino, Scorsese collaboration possible?


In news that is sure to have fans salivating, Martin Scorsese revealed to the Indian daily newspaper The Hindu that Al Pacino is his choice to play Frank Sinatra in the big screen biopic he is working on, with long-time collaborator Robert De Niro taking on the role of Dean Martin.

‘M:I-IV’ gets director, release date


The sequel to 2006’s ‘Mission: Impossible III’ has been given a December 16th 2011 release date. JJ Abrams will return in a producer capacity, alongside star Tom Cruise, whilst the movie will be helmed by ‘The Incredibles’-director Brad Bird.
